In these modern times which are governed by emotions instead of reason, desire instead of self-control, and fantasy instead of facts, we have teacher after teacher, with church after church, teaching that if you are not saved then you simply endure a peaceful eternal death.
They teach that there is no such place as Hell where the wicked are punished day and night from generation to generation. They teach that Hell is simply the grave and peaceful eternal sleep (death). In other words, because they have chosen to create a new doctrine for the fate of the wicked, they teach in direct opposition to the words of scripture, while professing that the written word really did not mean what it clearly says.
This feel good anti-scriptural false doctrine was created from the mindset of human reasoning, perpetuated by a morally bankrupt society, and foisted upon an unsuspecting confused people! At every point that man perverts the meaning of the words in true scripture to match the desires of his heart, he is making the authority of his word higher than the authority of Yahavah. Therefore he is sitting in the seat (position) of God, making himself as God!
This doctrine brings forth a self-centered attitude of arrogance and wrongfully applied self-confidence. It works to nullify the words of Yahavah (God) that are given in prophetic warning after warning. It makes the words of King David meaningless.
Psalms 111:10.
10. “The fear of the Yahavah is the beginning of wisdom…..”
To begin exposing this dangerous false doctrine for what it really is, we will start with listing three verses.
Matthew 10:15. (Yashava)
15. “verily I say unto you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.”
Matthew 23:14. (Yashava)
14. “Woe unto you, Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For ye devour widows houses, and for a pretense make long speeches: Therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.”
Mark 12:40. (Yashava)
40. “which devours widows houses, and for a pretence make long prayers: These shall receive the greater damnation.”
These verses confirm that there is a punishment handed out to the wicked at judgment, and it establishes that the punishment is handed out in varying degrees depending upon the circumstances. This within itself eliminates peaceful eternal death as being the punishment. When you are dead, you are dead! There is no such thing as a greater or lessor death, and there is no punishment, suffering, or torment in death. There is no varying degrees of punishment in being tossed into the Lake of fire and being instantly burned up by intense heat. Considering that both Matthew and Mark named this punishment as damnation, what is damnation connected to?
Matthew 23:33. (Yashava)
33. “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of Hell?”
We can now clearly see that damnation is referring to being punished in Hell!
Mark 3:29. (Yashava)
29. “But he that shall blaspheme against the holy Ghost [Spirit] hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.”
The Greek word that eternal is translated from differs from the Greek word that for ever is translated from in that the Greek word for eternal leaves no room for confusion as to the length of time.
Scripture has now connected damnation, hell, varying degrees, and eternal all together. We can see that the wicked will receive a punishment called damnation in a place called Hell by varying degrees, and that punishment is eternal. That sure sounds like it directly resembles the old time fire and brimstone preaching to us! Perhaps they were on to something after all. We sure had a whole lot nicer society when they were preaching it.
But wait! We are just getting warmed up on the scriptural evidences for the hellfire and brimstone doctrine, where the wicked are punished from generation to generation.
John 5:28,29. (Yashava)
28. “Marvel not at this: for the hour cometh, in which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29. and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”
Yashava actually clarified the issue quite well. Everyone ‘ALL’ who are in the graves come forth in that hour to be resurrected from the temporary condition of death to be judged. Those who are judged worthy to merit salvation are then sent into the promised land. Those who are judged to be unworthy to merit salvation are then cast into the eternal damnation of Hell!
One single resurrection in that hour. One single judgment time in that hour, and two distinct different outcomes depending on the verdict of that judgment. We can clearly see that ‘ALL’ gets resurrected (brought back to life) from the temporary condition of death. The only difference between the two groups are where they go, and the condition of their existence once they get there.
Matthew 25:45,46. (Yashava)
45. “Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
46. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into eternal life.”
In verse forty-six we find the word ‘everlasting’ punishment. The word everlasting is translated to the English from the same Greek word as eternal was translated from, and has the same exact meaning. In other words there is no wiggle room to question the meaning of the English translation of everlasting.
Next we find that the word ‘punishment’ is translated from the Greek word kolasis; penal affliction:- punishment, torment. One cannot eternally cause penal affliction upon the dead!
The eternal damnation is a completely separate issue then the temporary condition of death. Yahavah God totally eliminates death when the earth cast out its dead. The earth casts out ‘ALL’ of its dead including those who have been cremated, those who have long ago turned back to dust, and those who have been completely consumed by land or sea creatures. There is no more human body, so if there is not a separate Soul, what is the earth casting out?
Although there is a very selective and limited resurrection prior to John 5:28,29, the main general resurrection has to occur during the John 5:28,29 resurrection. Considering Yashava tells us ‘ALL’ that are in the graves (both good and evil) will hear His voice and come forth from the graves when the earth casts out her dead, Then at that very instance, death no longer exists!
That means that the temporary condition of death comes to an end at the John 5:28 resurrection, and the disposition of those resurrected Souls are of an eternal nature. Regardless if it is the righteous Soul or the wicked soul, they all depart to their selected inherited home, because death no longer exists!
Revelation 21:4 (Yashava’s Testimonial)
4. “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death.”
Isaiah 25:8.
8. “He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord Yahavah will wipe away tears from all faces…..”
Isaiah 26:21.
21. “For behold, The Yahavah cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity [lawlessness]: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and no more cover her slain.”
Death is a temporary state of existence, and the earth is a temporary repository for those in that state of existence. That is why scripture refers to death as sleep over and over! Although the body may not exist, it is the Soul of every individual who ever lived that sleeps in the earth.
Hell is a permanent place of eternal torment that is never done away. Once the physical body is destroyed there is no longer any physical pain and suffering. However, the Soul remains trapped in that desolation in limbo with no method of escape. The Soul is effectively destroyed because it is trapped in the desolate place and it can never serve its created purpose of having a living, breathing, physical body. It is not destroyed into non-existence; rather, it is destroyed in its purpose—consciously suffering the ultimate penal affliction of eternal shame, isolation, and mental torment while separated from the living. It will remain forever in outer darkness in separation from Yahavah, and the eternal life of the living.
Revelation 20:10. (Yashava’s Testimonial)
10. “And the devil who deceiveth them, was cast into the Lake of Fire and brimstone where the beast and false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
So, exactly who is it that joins the devil, the beast, and the false prophet in the place of torment, which is called the lake of fire and brimstone, and the second death?
Revelation 20:15. (Yashava’s Testimonial)
15. “And anyone not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
The article titled ‘When and Where is Hell located’ uses Scripture to inform us that Hell does not exist at this time, but will be created in the future at a specific time and place.
