In the article ‘Is there a Hell” we have used Scripture to determine that there is an eternal Hell. Now we will use Scripture to determine when and where this lake of fire and brimstone will be (future event) located. We will present the Scriptural evidence, and let you the reader decide!
Isaiah 34:5-17. (Yahavah)
5. “For my sword shall be bathed in heaven; behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, the people of my curse to judgment.
6. The sword of the Yahavah is filled with blood, it is made fat with the fatness, and the blood of the lambs and goats, with the fat of kidneys of Rams: for the Yahavah hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.”
As we proceed forward with this end of the age prophecy, the reader will see that these verses are not referring to animals at all. The Lambs are Israel in part, and the Goats are the heathen gentiles in part. These are those who receive the wrath of Yahavah in The Lords Day of Vengeance upon His return.
Scripture commonly uses animals to symbolize different people. The Lion is Judah. The Unicorn is Ephraim. The dragon is Satan or demons. The Lamb or Sheep are Israel, and the Goats are the heathen gentiles.
Bozrah is the main city of Idumea (the descendents of Esau). Idumea lays directly below the Salt or Dead Sea, and it extends a good distance to the south, east, and west.
Not only is Idumea a wilderness wasteland, it also has another very important feature that is worthy of committing to memory. In northern Idumea directly below the Salt or Dead Sea, lays a very large valley that carries the name ‘The Valley of Salt’ because of its extremely high salt content. All of these features of Idumea are worthy to commit to memory as we study different Scriptures that are describing the end of this age lake of fire, and the place of damnation.
8. “For it is the day of the Yahavah’s vengeance, and the year of recompense for the controversy of Zion.”
This verse clearly identifies this prophecy as an end time prophecy concerning the Yahavah’s day of vengeance, when He returns in wrath to destroy the wicked. He sure is not coming back to slaughter animals!
9. “The streams thereof shall be turned to pitch, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.
10. It shall not be quenched night or day; The smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste: none shall pass through it for ever and ever.”
That sure sounds like the perfect description of Hell (the lake of fire) to us! On the day (year) of Yahavah’s vengeance at the end of this age, the Yahavah is creating the lake of fire and brimstone within the land of Idumea, and the people of His curse.
Through the prophet Isaiah, Yahavah wastes no opportunity of description to impress upon us of how hot, desolate, and uninhabitable the land of Idumea will forever become, on or right after Yahavah’s great slaughter in the land of Idumea. No living person can even pass through it! Then as we continue reading we come across this:
11. “But the Cormorant and the Bittern shall possess it; the Owl also and the Raven shall dwell there: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.”
In verse eleven we find explanations formed into parables that on the surface sound crazy, and leaves us scratching our heads! We have all of these different types of unclean birds living in this fiery hot, desolate land, that is not able to be inhabited, and no living person can even pass through it. Yet it still has the stones of emptiness. It truly does look like Yahavah has stretched out the line of confusion over it!
However, what Yahavah has really done is use symbolism to describe an indescribable event, in which He wished to keep hidden until the appropriate time right before the end of this age. He is describing the unclean (unsaved) spirits (souls) that cannot be alive in physical bodies as we understand being alive, and yet they cannot be dead as we comprehend death. As weird as this may sound, this is a truth that will prove out to be a reality as we continue forward in reviewing this end of the age prophecy.
13. “And thorns come up in her palaces, nettles, and brambles, in the fortress thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.”
Thorns and nettles, and brambles are a metaphor for the seed of the devil (the seed of the wicked), that has been growing up mixed among the wheat (children) of Yahavah. Satan and his fallen angels are depicted as the dragon.
14. “The wild beasts of the desert shall meet the wild beasts of the islands, and the Satyr shall cry to his fellow; the Screetch Owl also shall rest there and find for herself a place of rest.”
The beasts of the desert and the beasts of the islands are referring to the lawless rebels who have chosen to not repent. Then we come to verse fourteen. This verse is the verse that really lets the cat out of the bag! Up until verse fourteen it has been speculative and controversial as to the meaning of the unclean birds and different critters. However, verse fourteen clearly establishes the true meaning of the different unclean birds and animals of this prophecy. It appears as though for some unknown reason the translators made a conscious choice to attempt to hide the revelation in which verse fourteen revealed to us, but it will work no more!
The Hebrew word that the translators willfully chose to translate to the English as ‘Screech Owl’ is actually the Hebrew name ‘Liyliyth which means: night spectre (ghost) Spirit. The English spelling of this name is Lilith.
In ancient Hebrew legend Lilith was created to be Adam’s helpmate prior to Eve. According to legend, Lilith rebelled and refused to submit to Adam. She became a wandering night spirit that wanders throughout the earth killing infants (Infant sudden death syndrome), and accosting men in their sleep, giving them the desire to commit adultery.
It is completely irrelevant if the ancient Hebrew legend is true or not. When Yahavah used Isaiah to write that name down as one of the inhabitants of that god forsaken land, He positively identified it as the resting place of night spectres (ghosts or evil spirits).
With this knowledge and understanding we can see that all these other unclean creatures are symbolic for unclean (wicked) spirits, and then we can fully comprehend how they can survive in that ungodly environment. There is only pain when one possesses a physical body, and when evil spirits are absent of a physical body they cannot feel physical pain! However, any physical human cannot even pass through it because of the heat. The Land of Idumea will become the home for evil spirits where no animal or human can ever dwell or pass through.
15. “There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay and hatch, and gather under her shadow: There shall the vulture also be gathered, everyone with her mate.
16. Seek ye out of the book of the Yahavah, and read: no one of them shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it has spoken and commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.”
Yahavah has gathered every evil spirit into this one location; The lake of fire and brimstone in the land of Idumea.
17. “And he shall cast a lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: They shall possess it from generation to generation for ever shall they dwell there.”
Yahavah has gathered all the evil (wicked) spirits and surveyed the land out line by line, and imprisoned them to that land from generation to generation for ever! The evil spirits shall dwell there from generation to generation for ever. they cannot ever leave that fiery hot desolate uninhabitable salt land. This leads us to the conclusion that they can never possess a physical human body again. they are eternally trapped in their state of destruction called the second death.
From the human perspective, the person is eternally dead because it has no body and can never return to the living. From the evil spirits perspective, it can feel no physical pain because it lacks a physical body, and therefore it has been thrown into outer darkness, and eternally dwells in the absence of the light of Yahavah and the living. From Yahavah’s perspective, the evil spirit can never possess a human body again, or interfere in His creation, and therefore it has been destroyed.
To us it sure sounds like that through Isaiah, Yahavah was giving us a detailed account of the same lake of fire and brimstone in an eternal Hell that Yashava referred to in Matthew and the book of Revelation. But Wait! There is even more evidence given in Jeremiah.
Jeremiah 17:5,6. (Yahavah)
5. “Thus saith the Yahavah: cursed be the man that trusteth in man and maketh flesh be his arm, and whose heart departed from the Yahavah,
6. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh, but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land not inhabited.”
Once again we have the cursed of Yahavah inhabiting a parched desert wilderness that is not inhabited, but this time Jeremiah adds in that it is a salt land.
Our homes were established about three thousand years ago. This life merely becomes the journey to the appropriate selected inheritance. Does our actions determine our destination, or does our selected destination determine our actions? Is there really any substantial difference, or is it merely a word play?
Do we get eternal life because we follow His laws, or do we follow His laws because we get eternal life? The real truth that is being avoided by these silly questions is: If we do not desire to follow the laws of Yahavah’s kingdom now, then Yahavah will not allow us into His eternal Kingdom!
